Welcome to the website for the Cognition and Integrated Action lab, situated in the Cognitive and Information Sciences group at University of California, Merced. In the “Cognaction” lab, graduate students work with Rick Dale on an assortment of issues related primarily to language. The focus of the lab is to uncover the cognitive dynamics of language processes, such as perspective-taking, conversation, deception, argumentation, and more.
